Penelope Fraser is a Consultant Clinical Psychologist who has worked in the private sector for over 30 years. She treats adults and teenagers (14+ years). She is registered with the British Psychological Society (BPS) and with the Health Professions Council (HPC). She is also an accredited therapist with many of the Private Insurance Companies.
Penelope worked in the NHS for 36 years. Latterly she was the Lead Clinician in Clinical Health Psychology in Tayside.
She was one of the first Clinical Psychologists in Scotland to specialise in the psychological assessment and treatment of patients with chronic pain and with post-traumatic stress disorder.
Miss Fraser also taught on the Clinical Psychology Course at University of Edinburgh. She was an Honorary Lecturer at the University of Abertay. She lectured, as requested, to Doctors, Dentists, Clinical Psychologists, medical students and to patient self-help groups. She also prepared medico-legal reports in the areas of personal injury and professional negligence.
