Dr Kechagioglou is an experienced Clinical Oncologist who is currently practising at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire. Her main clinical interest is in Breast and Colorectal cancer and treats patients with Radiotherapy, Chemotherapy and Biological agents. She is also the Acute Oncology service Lead and an active recruiter in clinical trials.
She graduated from University of Wales College of Medicine with Honours in 2003 and obtained the Certificate of Specialist Training in Oncology in 2010.
Dr Kechagioglou has worked as a consultant Clinical Oncologist in South West England and in Scotland before her current position and she has served as Clinical Governance Lead in Oncology/Haematology as well as Vice Chair in a Research Ethics Committee. She is currently a member of the NICE Technology Appraisal Committee, specialist advisor for the Care Quality Commission and an associate with the Healthcare Ombudsman. Moreover, she has completed an MSc in Public Health/Health Management, as well as an MBA degree and she is very passionate about offering safe and effective patient care.
Her other interests include Medical Education and she is currently an Honorary Senior Lecturer and Academic mentor at Bristol University. Dr Kechagioglou also offers medicolegal services.
