Personal Profile

Mr Peev trained at Medical University of Varna and graduated in 1999. He became a fully accredited Consultant Orthopaedic surgeon in 2004 after the completion of his specialist orthopaedic training. He has worked since as an orthopaedic surgeon in a number of hospitals across London and also in the Middle East Region, working together with the internationally renowned orthopaedic surgeon Prof. Christoph Rangger from Frankfurt.

Professional fellowships

Mr Peev has completed specialist fellowship in joint reconstruction at The Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital, Stanmore with Mr Richard Carrington, Prof. Tim Briggs and Mr John Skinner. He gained comprehensive specialist fellowship training and developed advanced skills in all aspects of joint reconstruction and revision surgery.

Mr Peev specialises in hip and knee reconstruction and trauma surgery. His areas of interest include total hip and knee replacement, including revision surgery, knee arthroscopy, fracture fixation and complete management of traumatic and sports injuries as well as general orthopaedic conditions. Having trained under some of the best joint reconstruction surgeons in the world he has acquired considerable knowledge in treating degenerative joint disorders and osteoarthritis. He applies these principles to all the patients he treats.

Mr Peev currently performs around 100 joint replacements and 120 trauma cases per year. He provides comprehensive orthopaedic service and has excellent outcome and safety records of his cases.
