Personal profile

Mr Philip Kaloo is a consultant gynaecologist who specialises in the investigation and treatment of menstrual problems, pelvic pain and endometriosis and works both within the NHS and Private sector in the Cotswolds, Worcester and Bath. He is a specialist advanced  gynaecological laparoscopic surgeon.

Within the NHS (Gloucestershire NHS Foundation Trust) he is lead clinician for the NHS menstrual disorders clinic and the Endometriosis/pelvic pain clinic in Cheltenham General Hospital. Having trained at University College London (UCL). He completed postgraduate training in Bristol, Cheltenham, Bath, Southampton and Winchester. An additional two years were spent in clinical and laboratory-based endometriosis research at the University of Sydney, Australia.

He also holds an MSc in Advanced Gynaecological Endoscopy. He is married with 3 daughters.

  • Investigation and treatment of period problems (irregular, heavy or painful periods) Endometriosis , PMT / PMDD, PCOS

  • Hysteroscopic surgery including endometrial ablation, removal of fibroids etc
