Dr Naydenova qualified from the Higher Medical Institute, Stara Zagora, Bulgaria in 1993. She later spent 6 years in Botswana, Southern Africa, working as a senior medical officer in General Medicine at the largest tertiary referral hospital in the capital city of Gaborone. Dr Naydenova undertook all of her postgraduate training in the UK, completing her Core Medical Training at Kings’s College Hospital, London where she gained admission to higher medical training in Geriatric Medicine and General (Internal) Medicine.
Dr Naydenova trained in North East London rotating through Royal Free Hospital, Basildon Hospital, Queen’s Hospital and Barnet and Chase Farms Hospitals. She has been employed as a Consultant Physician and Geriatrician in a full time substantive role at North Middlesex Hospital since August 2014. Her roles have included working on a busy Acute Medical Unit; elderly care wards; day hospital and falls clinics. She has extensive experience in community working - being a Consultant responsible for ten residential & nursing homes in Enfield, Greater London.
Dr Naydenova takes keen interest in patient safety and clinical governance and is the clinical audit and governance lead for the Care of the Elderly Department at North Middlesex Hospital.
Dr Naydenova has the skills and competencies to deal with a wide variety of acute medical and geriatric presentations. She has extensive experience in the comprehensive assessment of older adults and believes in a holistic approach to patient’s care, placing the patient and their families at the center of her decision making process. Dr Naydenova is thoroughly organized and committed to her patients.
