Mr Prakash Sinha is a Consultant Oncoplastic Breast and Endocrine Surgeon specialising in breast cancer surgical treatment and surgery of the thyroid gland. Mr Sinha underwent his surgical training in the south-east of England. His training involved treating patients with breast cancer and breast reconstruction. He also received training as a thyroid surgeon.
Mr Sinha has been a consultant surgeon for the last nine years; his NHS base is the Princess Royal University Hospital. He has undertaken scientific research on breast cancer and achieved a Masters degree. Several of his works have been published in international journals. He is a keen teacher and is a Honorary Senior Lecturer with University of London and University of Kent.
In his busy practice Mr Sinha is aware of the trauma that women go through when a diagnosis of cancer is made. He supports each individual through the entire journey of cancer treatment to achieve best outcomes possible.
His surgical skills include breast cancer surgery to remove the disease, breast reconstruction surgery after partial or complete removal of the breast and symmetrisation surgery to match the other breast. Mr Sinha also has an endocrine surgery.
