Mr Faraj is a Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and has been in the speciality for the last 20 years. Mr Faraj has completed his higher Obstetrics and Gynaecology training in North West/Manchester Hospitals.

He was the medical director of IVF unit in Muscat and had the first IVF baby in the Sultanate of Oman. Mr Faraj is the lead of infertility Service in Rotherham General Hospital and had a wide experience in the management of infertile couples.

He is currently an examiner in the Royal college of obstetricians and gynaecologists in the UK and faculty of many courses. He is also Honorary Senior Clinical Lecturer – University of Sheffield and has been the undergraduate lead of medical students for many years.

  • Mr Faraj has a special interest in recurrent pregnancy loss, gynaecology and early pregnancy scanning, endometriosis and polycystic Ovary syndrome
  • Apart from reproductive medicine, Mr Faraj clinical interest is in key-hole (Laparoscopic) and hysteroscopic surgery and general benign gynaecology
