Clinical Interests

Investigation of unexplained Breathlessness, Cough, Wheezing, Snoring and recurrent chest infections; Asthma, COPD, Bronchiectasis, Pulmonary fibrosis (Interstitial Lung Disease), TB, Pneumonia, Pleurisy, Pleural effusion.
All aspects of general medicine especially unexplained symptoms, weight loss, systemic symptoms.
Adult Allergy including Unknown Allergy testing, Food Allergy, Inhalant Allergy, Hay Fever, Asthma, Urticaria, Angioedema, Allergen Immunotherapy and Anaphylaxis

Personal profile

Dr Raghu Raju trained as a general physician and respiratory specialist at London, Oxford and Yorkshire deanery as part of which he did a fellowship in Lung Cancer at Leeds.

He has worked as a Consultant at Bucks Healthcare since the year 2015 where he cares for both general medical and respiratory patients. He has a broad interest in all aspects of respiratory medicine with special interest in Allergy, Lung cancer and Pleural diseases. He leads the Pleural diseases service at the trust.

He has been awarded the European Diploma in Respiratory medicine in 2016 and Fellowship of Royal College of Edinburgh in 2018 and Diploma in Adult Allergy from Imperial College, London. He has worked as an Allergist at Harefield Hospital.

Outside of work, he is a keen runner and amateur cyclist. In addition to his work, he does volunteering – he is School Governor at one of the primary schools in Amersham.
