He came to the UK in 1991 to study for a Masters (M.Ch) in Orthopaedics at the University of Liverpool. At the same time he worked as a registrar in orthopaedics at the Arrowe Park Hospital in Liverpool.
He took his FRCS examination from the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Glasgow in July 2000. He was appointed Locum Consultant in 2001 and has been Substantive Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon since 2010.
He is presently employed as Lower Limb Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at the University Hospitals or North Tees and Hartlepool. Mr Logishetty is the clinical governance lead for orthopaedics at UHNT, looking after patient safety. He is also a member of the faculty at the Newcastle Surgical Training Centre.
