Mr Natarajan obtained his medical degree from Madras medical college, University of Madras, India in 1985. He obtained his primary postgraduate qualification in orthopaedics and traumatology from the prestigious All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi, India. After post graduation he worked as a lecturer in orthopaedics and traumatology in the Christian Medical college Hospital, Vellore, South India.
In the UK, Mr Natarajan did his orthopaedic training in the Wessex training circuit, completing his registrar rotation in Southampton University Hospitals. He did a fellowship in paediatric orthopaedics and limb reconstruction at Sheffield Children’s Hospital before taking up the position of consultant orthopaedic surgeon in Northampton General Hospital and BMI Three Shires Hospital, Northampton in 2001.
Mr Natarajan’s main interests are foot and ankle surgery. He has a particular interest in the treatment of ankle arthritis, achilles tendon problems, adult flat foot, bunion surgery and toe problems. Mr Natarajan has published several articles in scientific journals on various topics in orthopaedic surgery.
