Dr Ramnik Mathur is a Consultant Paediatrician. Dr Mathur qualified in India in 1998. He worked for a year in India as a senior registrar before coming to UK in 2001, after which he did his MD in paediatrics from Rajasthan University, a three-year degree course. Dr Mathur has trained in the UK for 10 years in paediatrics and neonates at various major UK hospitals like Great Ormond Street, St. Thomas’, St. George’s and St Mary’s. This has given him vast experience of dealing with various common conditions seen in children. 

He completed his CCT (Certificate of completion of training) in General paediatrics in 2011 and is on the GMC’s specialist register for Paediatrics & Neonates. Dr Mathur has done MSc in Paediatric Allergy & Immunology at Southampton University.

Dr Mathur has been a Paediatric Consultant since 2012. Initially, he was working with London North West NHS trust where he was the lead for the Neonatal unit & Paediatric A&E at Ealing Hospital. Since 2017, he has been working with Chelsea & Westminster NHS Trust where he has been working in Paediatric A&E at West Middlesex Hospital. Dr Ramnik Mathur also holds private clinics at The Clementine Churchill Hospital and Syon Clinic.

Dr Mathur has extensive teaching experience in subjects like neonatal issues, various problems with which children present to paediatric A&E department, diagnosis and management of various allergies, including cow's milk protein allergy, gastroesophageal reflux disease, chronic headache, chronic abdominal pain, migraine, and other common paediatric problems. 

He has been fortunate enough to receive excellent feedback on various platforms like Google, IWantGreatcare and Doctify. Dr Mathur continues to try his best to deliver excellent patient care, which is reflected in the feedback.

Dr Mathur’s speciality interest are neonatal problems like odd-shaped heads, gastroesophageal reflux disease, cow's milk protein allergy, failure to thrive etc. 
He is associated with the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health, Department of Allergy and Immunology Southampton, Paediatric Intensive Care Society, and regularly attend conferences and meetings to keep himself up to date. 

In his spare time, Dr Mathur tries to keep himself updated on current issues like COVID in children, various developments in the field of allergy, like immunotherapy, finding the latest evidence for the management of common paediatric conditions.
