Adam Brooks qualified with BM BCh from Oxford University in 1990 and then became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (FRCS) in 1994. After junior hospital posts, Adam returned to Oxford for his specialist orthopaedic training, gaining the FRCS (Tr&Orth) exam in 2000. He completed his training with a fellowship in Trauma and Arthroplasty at St Michael’s Hospital, Toronto in 2001.
Mr Brooks has been in post in Swindon since 2002 and specialises in lower limb arthroplasty, with particular interest in adult hip & knee disorders. He offers a service in primary and revision hip replacement, hip resurfacing, hip arthroscopy and hip impingement surgery using both open and arthroscopic techniques. He also sees many patients with knee disorders and offers knee arthroscopy and primary knee replacement procedures.
