Dr Richard Mansfield is a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal United Hospital, Bath. He qualified in 1990 from Leeds University Medical School and trained in Cardiology in the South of England. During his training in cardiology he was awarded a BHF Research Fellowship at University College Hospital, London. This led to the award of an MD with commendation.

Dr Mansfield was appointed as a Consultant Cardiologist at the RUH in 2002 and started  private practice at the Bath Clinic the same year. In addition to his clinical role he is the Training Programme Director for Cardiology in the Severn Deanery and is a member of the Cardiology SAC.
