Rob qualified from St Bartholomew's Hospital in 1992 and underwent his specialist training in Anaesthesia in Wessex and Perth, Australia. He was appointed a consultant at The Royal Bournemouth NHS Trust in 2005.
He anaesthetises patients for orthopaedic, vascular and general surgery. He is one of the consultants responsible for Critical Care in Bournemouth, and he is the hospital's major medical incident officer. He is a keen windsurfer and lives locally with his wife and new young baby.
Professor Michael Wee is a senior consultant anaesthetist appointed at Poole in 1992. He trained in anaesthesia in Dundee, Copenhagen, Bristol and the South West.
Professor Wee's specialist interest is in obstetric anaesthesia and led the service for 20 years. He holds positions in several national societies and chairs the trust's research and innovations group.
He is an active researcher and collaborates closely with Bournemouth University and the National Institute for Health Research.
