Mr Robert Purbrick

He qualified from Liverpool Medical School in 2004 and carried out his postgraduate Ophthalmology training in London, Liverpool and Oxford. Robert’s main research interest is the effect of ocular diseases on sleep and circadian rhythms, having spent 2011-2014 as a Clinical Research Fellow at the Nuffield Laboratory of Ophthalmology, University of Oxford.
Robert practises general ophthalmology with a special interest in cataract surgery and the management of retinal diseases including age-related macular degeneration (AMD), diabetic eye disease, retinal vascular occlusions, and central serous retinopathy (CSR).
