Personal Profile

Dr Correa completed his Anaesthesia postgraduate training at hospitals in Yorkshire and the West Midlands. He also completed a fellowship at the Toronto Western Hospital in Canada before completing further specialist training in pain medicine at University Hospitals Coventry and Warwickshire (UHCW) and Russels Hall Hospital, Dudley.

He is currently an NHS Consultant in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at UHCW, Coventry and holds a private pain management clinic at The Meriden Hospital.

As an expert in his field, he is an examiner for the Royal College of Anaethetists in London and the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh and a visiting lecturer at the University of Zambia in Lusaka.

  • Other pain conditions such as headache, facial pain, persistent pain after surgery or trauma, urogenital pain and neuropathic pain (nerve pain)

  • Trigger Point Injection
  • Therapeutic injections into spine such as nerve root blocks, facet /sacroiliac joint injections and radio frequency ablation(denervation)
  • Epidural injection for pain relief
  • Lidocaine Infusions
