Personal profile

Roger Wong trained at St George’s Hospital Medical School, London and has completed fellowships in Vitreoretinal Surgery at St Thomas Hospital, London and trained at Moorfields Eye Hospital. He was appointed Consultant Ophthalmologist at St Thomas’ Hospital and Frimley Park Hospital in 2013

He is a senior honorary lecturer at Kings College, London and is active in subspecialty ophthalmology training. Mr Wong is the lead for undergraduate ophthalmology teaching for Kings College medical students at St Thomas Hospital.

He continues to be active in clinical research and is invited to international conferences to lecture on vitreoretinal surgery.
