Professor Roslyn Miller’s philosophy is simple:

Stand up, Step out and Run to your dreams

  • You should be able to stand up for what is right with integrity
  • You should be able to step out of your comfort zone with excitement and wonder
  • And you deserve to run to your dreams with fun and vulnerability

Your feet are your greatest supporters. They are also one of the most complex parts of your body.

People seek advice when they have pain. Some experience symptoms of instability or change in shape of their feet, such as flat feet or collapse of the ankle. Others experience stiffness, and some, a combination of all.

Ros Miller will help you find the right solution for you. For each patient journey, she will work with a network of clinicians in a multi-disciplinary environment, to create a bespoke treatment plan and get you back to where you want to be, as quickly as possible.

Prof Ros Miller runs clinics across all of BMIs portfolio in Scotland, with regular sessions at Ross Hall in Glasgow, Kings Park in Stirling and Albyn in Aberdeen, where she studied medicine at The University of Aberdeen.

As Head of the Foot and Ankle Service for NHS Lanarkshire, she is the leading Minimally Invasive Foot and Ankle Surgeon in Scotland, with over 10 years’ experience specialising in conditions affecting the foot and ankle such as ligament injuries, bunions, big toe arthritis and hammer toes. She is an expert in MICA Minimally Invasive Surgery for bunions, Cartiva and Hemicap joint replacements for the big toe and Internal Brace for ligament injury.

Professor Ros Miller is a fully qualified Orthopaedic Surgeon with Specialist Registration with the General Medical Council. She is regularly invited to speak at conferences around the world and has worked with a number of foot and ankle surgeons in the UK, Europe, North America, and the Far East.  Her work has been recognised and published in international peer reviewed Foot and Ankle journals.
