Dr Rubaiyat Haque is one of a very small number of consultants with specialist accreditation in allergy. He is recognised as one the country’s leading experts in this field.
He studied medicine at Cambridge University and St Bartholomew’s Hospital. After a period of clinical research at The Brompton, he undertook specialist training in allergy at Addenbrooke's Hospital in Cambridge. In 2010, he was appointed to his current post of Consultant Allergist at Guy's and St Thomas' Hospital where he runs the largest allergy service in the country.
Dr Haque aspires to the very highest standards of clinical care. His department is recognised internationally as centre of clinical excellence. He is involved in the development of national allergy guidelines for the British Society of Allergy and Clinical Immunology and for NICE.
