Personal Profile
In 1996, Dr Sanyal qualified in Medicine from India. He worked and trained in dermatology before coming to the UK for further training. He completed his training in dermatology in the West Midlands deanery working across local hospitals in the region. He is highly experienced having worked across hospitals in India, Nepal and UK since 1999. In the UK he has worked in units based in Milton Keynes, London, Liverpool, Dundee, Edinburgh, Warwick, Coventry and Birmingham.
He has a special interest in Paediatric Dermatology and psychological problems arising from skin disorders. Dr Sanyal currently works as a consultant dermatologist at the University hospitals of Coventry and Warwickshire covering both the hospital of St Cross, Rugby and University hospital, Coventry.
He is actively involved in research and has been an investigator in various clinical trials in the UK as a member of the UK Dermatology clinical trials network. Dr Sanyal is also passionate about Medical Education and is a keen teacher to medical students, trainees and general practitioners.
