Mr Parsons is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon based at the West Suffolk Hospital and holds his private practice at St Edmunds Hospital.

Mr Parsons undertook a fellowship in joint replacement at the internationally renowned Wrightington Hospital in Wigan at the Centre for Hip Surgery, established by Sir John Charnley, the inventor of the Charnley Hip replacement. 

His fellowship in Wrightington exposed him to all aspects of primary and revision joint replacement, using many time proven techniques as well as the newer, more contemporary approaches to joint preservation and replacement. Mr Parsons also performs large numbers of Knee replacements and knee arthroscopy.

Mr Parsons trained on the Oswestry/Stoke rotation in the West Midlands.

Mr Parsons is a friendly and approachable doctor with a relaxed manner. He is keen to involve and help patients when faced with large amounts of information now available on the internet. This information can be contradictory when the focus should be on long term results and proven clinical outcomes.

Mr Parsons is married with two small children, and enjoys mountain biking and running in his spare time. Mr Parsons specialises in:
