Miss Das graduated from the Utkal University, India in 1990. During postgraduate training in Obsterics and Gynaecology in India, she carried out research in sub fertility and the role of postcoital test in unexplained infertility resulting in the award of a MD in 1993.

Miss Das continued her training in the UK where she achieved MRCOG. In addition to training in general obstetrics and gynaecology, she acquired special skills training in management of subfertile couples, assisted reproduction and gynaecological ultrasound scanning. She worked as Research Fellow in the Hewitt Centre for Reproductive Medicine in Liverpool Women’s Hospital during 2003-05. Miss Das has had numerous publications in peer reviewed journals and presentations in National and International conferences.

Miss Dass was appointed a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Royal Bolton Hospital in 2008. Since then she has established a busy practice as a general Obstetrician and Gynaecologist with a special interest in outpatient hysteroscopy, infertility, laparoscopy and gynaecological ultrasound.
