Mr Miranda's expertise lies in all conditions affecting the hand, wrist and upper limb peripheral nerves. This includes Upper limb surgery; Peripheral nerve disorders; Wrist surgery; Hand surgery; Dupuytren’s contracture, Carpal Tunnel Syndrome, arthritis; osteoarthritis; rheumatoid arthritis and painful joints, injuries and sports injuries and tendon problems. Sanjay Miranda has been subspecialised in Hand and Upper Limb surgery since 2003. He trained in Orthopaedic Surgery in the West Midlands and had further training to specialise in Hand, Upper Limb and Peripheral Nerve surgery. He undertook 12-month Fellowship training at Pulvertaft Hand Unit, Derby. He then moved to Sydney, Australia to do a 6-month hand fellowship in North Shore Hospital (microsurgery and nerve surgery) and 6-month shoulder and elbow fellowship at North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medical Centre.
