Mr Anand is a specialist in Knee surgery and Sports injury surgery. He has a particular expertise in all aspects of arthroscopic knee surgery including cruciate ligament reconstruction, articular cartilage surgery, meniscal repairs and meniscal trimming. He has an expertise in knee joint replacement surgery including Partial and Total knee replacement, minimally invasive surgey and computer navigated knee surgery. He also manages sports injuries including use of hip arthoscpic surgery for selected groin pain conditions.
Mr Anand trained in Orthopaedics at London, Manchester and Leeds. Upon completion of his orthopaedic training, he undertook one year of Specialist Surgical Fellowship training in Arthroplasty and Sports Injury surgery at Sportsmed SA, Adelaide, Australia, in 2007-8. He worked with some of the best surgeons in Australia to develop complex arthroscopic reconstructive skills and he specialises in minimally invasive / keyhole surgery.
Mr Anand presented his research papers at various national and international meetings and currently has 16 international publications available.
