Miss Subha had her basic qualification and postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology from King George’s Medical College, which is one of the oldest and prestigious medical colleges in India. Her experience in Obstetrics and Gynaecology mainly comes from the three years she spent as postgraduate resident. She learnt the basic principles in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and gained practical experience in managing emergencies, inpatient wards and outpatient clinics. She subsequently learnt and was able to perform most of the common surgical procedures in Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
She started her career in the UK as a Senior House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manor Hospital, Walsall, for a year. Miss Subha continued working as a Senior House Officer in the maternity unit of Wordsley Hospital which undertakes over 4000 deliveries per year and has a busy Gynaecology Unit with specialty clinics for colposcopy and sub fertility and as Senior House Officer in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Mayday University Hospital, London, dealing with a high risk maternity population. The unit has 6 Consultants with specialty clinics in Oncology, Urogynaecology, Sub fertility and Feto-maternal medicine.
Miss Subha’s main interest being subfertility management she went on to specialize in subfertility and assisted conception involving IVF and ICS Cycles at Croydon University Hospital.
She has been working as associate specialist in fertility management since 2009 and she has been in charge of clinical management of the unit taking couples through the IVF +/-ICSI AND all other aspects of subfertility management.
Miss Subha is recognised trainer for ultrasound under RCOG.
