Personal Profile
Dr Sarju Mathew graduated from Bangalore University in India in 1991. He completed his postgraduate training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in Indian national institutes PGIMER Chandigarh and JIPMER Pondicherry. He moved to Scotland to further his career in 2001. He was trained both in Edinburgh and Glasgow and completed his specialist registrar training in july 2008.
Since then he has been working as a consultant Gynaecologist and Obstetrician at Glasgow Royal Infirmary. He also offers full range of general gynaecological services including complex benign open gynaecological surgical procedures, laparoscopy, laser ablation of endometriosis, endometrial ablation techniques for menorrhagia and operative hysteroscopic procedures.
He is also skilled in colposcopy (accredited), outpatient hysteroscopy and trans-vaginal ultrasound.
