Mr Shahzad Sadiq completed his specialist orthopaedic training in Manchester and London. He has extensive experience in treatment of complex trauma patients, in particular non-union of long bones. He did AO Trauma Fellowship in Canada.
Mr Sadiq also had extensive training in lower limb joint arthroplasty and revision surgery in Wrightington and at Hammersmith Hospital, London. He has specialist training in both cemented and uncemented hip arthroplasty and use of uncemented long stems in revision arthroplasty surgery.
He has keen interest in the management of bone infection and infected arthroplasty of hip and knee. I believe that the cemented arthroplasty is still the gold standard for hip and knee arthroplasty surgery and has the longest and safest track record.
