More recently, he has introduced outpatient endometrial ablation service for the treatment of heavy periods by using 2nd generation device such as Novasure.
Within his areas of interest, he sees and manages patients with pelvic pain/endometriosis and menstrual irregularities, which includes heavy periods, irregular spotting in between the cycles (also known as intermenstrual bleeding) and breakthrough bleeding on hormonal contraception. A choice of both medical and surgical treatment is provided during consultation. Mr Salim has also post graduate diploma in public health (Sydney, Australia). Having formal qualifications in subjects including epidemiology and changing health behaviours, his approach to patient counselling and health management is an inclusive journey from past to present and future well-being.
