Personal profile

Mr Elnikety is a Consultant Trauma and Orthopaedic Surgeon in the UK, a position to which he was appointed in November 2016 after completion of fellowship training in upper limb surgery. He subspecialises in upper limb procedures with extensive experience in arthroscopic surgery, joint replacements and open procedures. Besides elective patients he performs all bone fixation procedures, including intramedullary nailing and various plate fixations and joint reconstruction surgeries. He also looks after sports injuries and performs various sports-related operations, including ligament reconstructions.

Besides his clinical activities, he is passionate about medical education, holds a postgraduate degree in medical education from University of Bedfordshire and teaches medical students and postgraduate doctors. He is active in medical research, and holds a doctorate degree in biomedical engineering from UCL. Mr Elnikety has presented his studies at national and international conferences and published scientific papers in prestigious medical journals.
