Having qualified in 2004, I undertook MSc at The University of Sheffield in Molecular and Genetic Medicine. This has helped me to have a deeper level of understanding of changes in the current medical world. Subsequently, I worked for a few years in Paediatrics. I changed speciality to General Practice due to family circumstances in order to balance work and support my young family.
In the last few years I have pursued my interests in Women`s health by completing Diploma in Family Planning. I have recently completed GP clinical fellowship in Paediatrics.
I bring with me vast experience in patient care having worked in both primary and secondary care for a few years now. I have keen interest in women`s health, family planning and paediatrics. I am also experienced in Palliative care, Mental health and looking after Elderly patients. I am actively involved in teaching medical students, junior doctors and GP trainees.
Outside of work my interests include practising yoga, mindfulness, travelling and spending time with my lovely family.
