Dr Shikha Gupta qualified from the University of Nottingham medical school in 2000 and trained as a dermatologist in the UK. Upon completion of Dermatology higher specialist training, she was selected for a prestigious fellowship in medical dermatology at the world-renowned St John’s Institute of Dermatology gaining further expertise in the diagnosis and management of inflammatory skin conditions. She has worked in some of the UK’s leading Dermatology centres including Royal Free hospital, and Guys and St Thomas’ NHS foundation trust in London.
In addition to her private work, Dr Shikha Gupta works as a consultant dermatologist within Kings College NHS Foundation Trust. As well as her special interest in diagnosing skin rashes, psoriasis and eczema, she consults patients with all general dermatology concerns such as moles, acne, skin cancers and provides advice on the removal of warts, cysts and benign moles.
Dr Shikha is a member of the British Association of Dermatologists and secretary for the British Society of Medical dermatology. As part of her role as a Consultant Dermatologist in the NHS, she is responsible for teaching and training medical students at Kings College.
Shikha lives in South London and loves an adventure and tries to travel somewhere new at least once a year. She loves yoga, and reading in her free time. Our patients love her because of her fine medical knowledge paired with a highly approachable and caring nature.
