My nephrology training was at Hammersmith Hospital and Royal London Hospital. I was appointed as a Consultant in Nephrology and Acute Medicine at Hillingdon Hospital in 2014. I hold Honorary Consultant posts at Harefield and Hammersmith Hospitals.
I currently work at Hillingdon Hospital. I am the clinical lead for renal medicine and Acute Kidney Injury (AKI) at Hillingdon Hospital. I am a member of the LAKIN( London AKI network).
I am experienced in all the aspects of the renal medicine including general nephrology, acute and chronic renal failure, hypertension and diabetic nephropathy.
I also work at Harefield Hospital and have experience in looking after heart and lung transplant patients with renal problems.
I am also experienced in treating acute general medical conditions.
My research has been on Acute Kidney Injury and incidence of thrombosis in diabetic patient with renal transplant.
I am actively involved in teaching and delivering talks to GP’s.
I am a mother of two young children and enjoy painting and reading in my spare time.
