Personal Profile
After graduating from Edinburgh Medical School, I underwent higher surgical training in Otolaryngology in the Yorkshire deanery. During my training I undertook higher research which resulted in being awarded a MD research degree.
After gaining my CCT, I undertook two prestigious clinical fellowships in neurotology and skull base surgery at Toronto General Hospital and in paediatric cochlear implantation at the Hospital for Sick Children.
Following my fellowship, I was appointed as a full-time NHS consultant at Sheffield Children's Hospital, Royal Hallamshire Hospital and Bradford Royal Infirmary.
I have presented at national and international meetings and have published 39 peer reviewed papers and 10 book chapters. I am a regular faculty member on regional temporal bone courses as well as FRCS revision corses.
