Personal profile

After obtaining a first class honours degree in Human Physiology, Dr Dubrey entered Medicine and qualified from the Welsh National School of Medicine in 1983. He completed several posts in Medicine before entering cardiology training at the Westminster Hospital.

Dr Dubrey has worked at several London teaching hospitals and finished his cardiology training in the Transplant Department at Harefield hospital.

He worked for two years in Boston, Massachusetts, USA at the Boston University Medical Centre. His experience is in heart failure, atrial fibrillation, amyloid and sarcoid heart disease. He also has several hundred publications and is currently the Director of Research & Development at the hospital.
