Mr Spyridon Mourtzoukos

Mr Mourtzoukos is a highly experienced Ophthalmologist who sees patients at BMI Goring Hall Hospital for Cataract assessment and surgery as well as age related macular degeneration.
He graduated from Athens Medical School in 1997 and completed his training in general Ophthalmology in Athens in 2007. Mr Mourtzoukos gained experience in surgical retina work at Hallamshire Hospital Sheffield (2008-2011) and medical retina work at Southampton University Hospital (2012-2013).
Subsequently, he worked at the Queen Alexandra Hospital, Portsmouth, where he was the clinical lead in Diabetic Ophthalmology taking responsibility for the Diabetic Macular Edema service. He also sees patients at BMI Goring Hall Hospital, Worthing, West Sussex for Aged related macular degeneration (AMD).
