Sridevi Kamma Rao went to UCL medical school and qualified in 1996. She then undertook six months of general medical and general surgical house jobs. At the end of the year she took up a six month post in Accident and Emergency prior to starting her training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology. Miss Rao's specialist training was in the KSS Deanery.
She gained transvaginal and gynaecological ultrasound scanning skills at St. George’s hospital where she worked as a research fellow. Miss Roa is currently a consultant at St George’s Hospital, where her role encompasses all aspects of obstetrics and gynaecology, with a special interest in ambulatory gynaecology and outpatient procedures.
