Personal Profile

Dr Weber graduated in 1991 from the Free University in Berlin (West) and started his postgraduate training in the UK the same year. He returned to Germany in 1993 and took up a research post for the following two years, exploring new treatments for patients suffering with severe forms of hyperlipidaemia. For his work he was awarded his MD in 1998.

Dr Weber started his training in Anaesthesia and Pain Management 1995 and took up his Consultant post in 2002 at Worthing & Southlands Hospital where he runs a busy pain clinic. He also practises independently at Goring Hall Hospital. He is a foundation Fellow of the Faculty of Pain Medicine of the Royal College of Anaesthetists and a member of the British Pain Society. He runs regular training courses for medical students and allied health professionals.

He is involved in research relating to acute and chronic pain management. He has given lectures at annual scientific meetings and has been a contributing author to “Pain Clinic Manual”.

Keen interest in acute & chronic pain management. I have practised for almost 10 years in the NHS. I see a wide variety of pain conditions, including neck, back, limb and facial pains as well as abdominal pain condition not treatable by surgical intervention.
