Mr Duckett undertook a Bsc(Hons) Biomedical Science graduating in 1992 before attending Liverpool University where he studied Medicine. He graduated with his MB ChB in 1998. He undertook house jobs in Liverpool and Senior House Officer Jobs on the Mersey Basic Surgical Training Rotation obtaining his Membership of the Royal College of Surgeons.
In 2003, he was then appointed to the Cambridge Higher Surgical Training Rotation, working all over East Anglia including Addenbrookes and The Norfolk and Norwich University Teaching Hospitals. In 2008 Mr Duckett became a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons, Edinburgh and completed his higher surgical training in 2009 and was then appointed as The Cavendish Hip Fellow at The Northern General Hospital in Sheffield where he undertook a further year of training in Lower Limb Arthroplasty, Complex Arthroplasty and Revision Hip and Knee Replacement. Mr Duckett was appointed as a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon at Mid Cheshire Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust starting in September 2010. He is also available to undertake NHS choose and book work as well as a comprehensive private service.
