Dr Steven Little

Dr Little studied Medicine at The University of Manchester and qualified in 2000.

He underwent specialist cardiology training in the North West, working in all the major hospitals in the region. After enjoying broad general cardiology training he spent the last few years of his training focusing on developing advanced specialist skills in the diagnosis/management of heart failure and complex pacing/defibrillator implantation.

Dr Little works as a Consultant Cardiologist at the Royal Bolton Hospital where he combines his enduring interest in general cardiology with his specialist skills in heart failure and complex pacing.

• Interested in all aspects of general cardiology including investigation and treatment of ischaemic heart disease, hypertension, arrhythmia, and heart failure
• Special interests include coronary angiography, echocardiography, transoesophageal echocardiography and device therapy including biventricular pacing and implantable defibrillators
