I have 25 years of Obstetrics and Gynaecology (O&G) experience having graduated in medicine from MKCG government medical college, India in 1991 & completed postgraduate training in O&G from a busy tertiary centre , SCB medical college India; where my MD thesis was accepted in 1996. Following which I worked as an Obstetrician & Gynaecologist in two different states of India, which included private practice in Navi Mumbai. Then I moved to Kuwait where I worked as a Registrar in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Ahmadi hospital, Kuwait from 2002-2007.

I became a Member of the Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist (RCOG), UK in 2004. Having acquired the overseas experience, I came to UK, where I worked as a registrar in New Cross Hospital, Stafford Hospital ,Wexhampark Hospital and Epsom Hospital from July 2007 until Dec 2008; before joining in a permanent post as Speciality Doctor in Wexhampark Hospital, where I was trained further by a Senior Gynae-Oncologist Consultant and completed my advanced training modules in colposcopy in 2012.

I continued to be involved in further training in Obstetrics and Gynaecology in UK and completed the postgraduate certificate in Teaching & Learning for Health Professionals (TLHP) in 2013; and also completed the  Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound in 2016 . After getting specialist registration through GMC in March 2015, I joined as a locum Consultant in the same trust from Sept 2015 for a year before joining as a Substantive Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with interest in Oncology in Wexham Park Hospital, Frimley Health NHS Trust in Oct 2016. I was awarded the Fellow of Royal College of Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in 2016.

In addition to my clinical duties as a substantive consultant, I have been successfully carrying out the duty of RCOG College Tutor and the management role of Gynae-Oncology Unit Lead of Wexham Park Hospital for the last 2 years.
