Personal Profile

I completed my medical training at Guys and St Thomas’ Hospitals, London, graduating in 1996. Following this I worked in junior doctor roles in Psychiatry, Paediatrics, Obstetrics & Gynaecology and Emergency medicine. I completed my GP training in London in 1999.

Since then I have worked as a GP in many parts of the UK, from single handed rural practices in Cheshire to busy urban practices in the East-end of London and still continue to work in the NHS locally here in Aberdeen. Within my current NHS role I supervise FY2’s, as well as Nurse practitioners and Paramedics. I also undertake out of hours work on occasions with the GMED service. I have over 18 years’ experience in general practice medicine. I am currently working at NHS Grampian-Aurora Medical Group

Clinical Interests

I have an interest in mental health and dermatology but enjoy the everyday challenges of being a general practitioner and the broad areas of health that this covers.
