Personal Profile
Dr Meehan qualified in University College Galway, Ireland. She became a fellow of the Royal college of Surgeons in Edinburgh, FRCS(Oto) and was awarded an MSc (Audiol Med) from Manchester University. She did her higher medical training in Manchester Royal infirmary and The University Hospital of Wales.
She worked as a Consultant Audiovestibular physician/Neuro-otologist at the Royal Throat Nose and Ear Hospital in London before taking a substantitive post at Queen’s Medical Centre and Royal Derby where she is currently based.She has a special interest in Neuro-otology and specialises exclusively in vertigo, disequilibrium, tinnitus, hyperacusis and hearing impairment.
