Personal profile

Dr Toby Longwill qualified from St George’s Hospital in 1999. His hospital training included posts as a registrar in general medicine, emergency medicine, rheumatology and dermatology. He is currently working as a NHS General Practitioner in Tower Hamlets and as a Programme Director for GP training with the London Deanery. He is also a medical appraiser in North East London.

Dr Longwill is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians (London) and a Member of the Royal College of General Practitioners.  He has a Masters degree in Sports and Exercise Medicine and has worked with the London Triathlon and London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic medical teams. He has also lectured on musculoskeletal medicine for the RCGP.

Dr Longwill also provides medico-legal examinations and reports. His experience includes reports for the Medical Defence Union, Medical Practitioners Tribunal Service and First Tier Tribunal Courts.
