Senior musculo-skeletal (MSK) radiologist at the Norfolk and Norwich University Hospital; in post for 14 years during which time the musculo-skeletal imaging service has been expanded and is now recognised as one of the leading services in the country.

Service development: imaging of sports injuries, utilizing ultrasound, CT and MRI as well as imaged guided diagnostic and therapeutic interventions.

Establishment of a regional spinal intervention service which includes vertebroplasty/kyphoplasty for treatment of painful osteoporotic and metastatic vertebral compression fractures, radiofrequency ablation for treatment of benign and malignant tumours, diagnostic spinal biopsies and peri-neural steroid injections for radicular pain.

Honorary Consultant Radiologist at Great Ormond Street Hospital (2007-present) to advise on, train and perform MSK interventional cases, notably CT guided radiofrequency ablation of osteoid osteomas.

Executive officer of the BSSR (British Society of Skeletal Radiology) 2005 – 2008.

Founding member of the British musculo-skeletal ultraound society and the National vertebroplasty users’ group and tutor on the national msculo-skeletal ultraound course for nearly 10 years.

Co-founder  of the national vertebroplasty database and guidelines which are widely utilized throughout the UK.

Co-founder  of Global Diagnostics UK.
