Mr Sung qualified in 1993 at University of Wales College of Medicine. He completed his ophthalmology specialist registrar training at Queen's Medical Centre University Hospital, Nottingham.
Thereafter, he completed two years glaucoma Fellowship training at Moorfields Eye Hospital, London and Queen's Medical Centre University Hospital, Nottingham.
With a broad interest in general ophthalmology, Mr Sung has extensive experience in small incision cataract surgery. He has particular interest in refractory glaucoma management including inflammatory and childhood glaucoma.
