Dr Mayadunne is a consultant physician with an interest in general/acute medicine and geriatrics. He had postgraduate training in North Middlesex Hospital London and later obtained specialty training in Hammersmith and Charing Cross Hospitals NHS Trust in General Medicine and Geriatrics, developing a special interest in neuro-cardiovascular diseases in the elderly.
He works at Frimley Health Foundation Trust and is based at Wexham Park Hospital, where he has been a consultant since 2003 and has a vast experience in general medicine and cardiovascular diseases and cerebrovascular diseases in the elderly. He works in the acute medicine department and runs the Rapid Access Syncope Clinic for the Trust. He performs Head-Up Tilt Tests, a diagnostic service for the management of blackouts of unknown aetiology, under the cardiology department.
He has admitting rights to Parkside suite at Wexham Park Hospital, Spire Thames Valley Hospitals and BMI Hospitals in Windsor, Great Missenden and The Bridge Clinic in Maidenhead.
