Victor Rajkomar is an experienced Consultant Dermatologist, who treats adult patients at BMI The South Cheshire Private Hospital. He is accomplished in treating all skin conditions, including, but not limited to eczema, psoriasis, inflammatory conditions, allergic reactions, acne, hair loss and lesions (including moles). He is also proficient in all aspects of skin surgery, including suspected skin cancer.
He graduated from the University of Sheffield Medical School and completed his dermatology postgraduate training in Manchester. He now works as a Consultant Dermatologist at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust and Vernova Healthcare Community Interest Company in Macclesfield, treating both adults and children.
He has presented at both national and international conferences and participated in multiple national research projects. He has co-authored a chapter on hair conditions in the ‘Treatment of Skin Disease’ textbook, currently in publication and has also co-authored the CPD module entitled ‘Key questions on scalp conditions’ for Pulse magazine (aimed at GPs).
He has a keen interest in teaching and has a lead role at Salford Royal NHS Foundation Trust, responsible for delivering the dermatology curriculum to medical students on placement from the University of Manchester. He is also the dermatology audit lead at Salford Royal Hospital ensuring best practice is achieved and maintained in the department.
