Undergraduate training at Trinity College, Dublin. Post-graduate training in Oxford and Manchester. Two years as Clinical Research Fellow at University of Manchester, researching in C.T. applications prior to taking up Consultant post in Salford in 1978. Responsible for introducing C.T. scanning in Hope Hospital and organising Neuroradiology service. Currently Senior Neuroradiologist at the Greater Manchester Centre for Neurosciences at Hope Hospital with additional responsibilities for Paediatric Neuroradiology at Royal Manchester General Hospital. Extensive clinical experience of C.T. and M.R. applications in neurosciences and spinal imaging.
