Mr William Scott is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon working at BMI The Blackheath Hospital. He retired from Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Woolwich and now works in the private sector.
Mr Scott trained as a General Orthopaedic Surgeon, in 1995 he established the specialist shoulder service at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital undertaking both arthroscopic and reconstructive shoulder surgery. In addition to extensive experience in joint replacement surgery of shoulder, elbow, hip and knee, he also provided the orthopaedic paediatric service.
Mr Scott offers both general and specialist orthopaedic care. He has wide experience in general orthopaedic conditions both in assessment and surgical management, with emphasis now on the management of shoulder and knee conditions. He also has extensive experience in medico-legal reporting which is arranged through Bromley Medical Chambers LLP.
Mr Scott qualified from King’s College Hospital and undertook his specialist orthopaedic training on Charing Cross Hospital circuit before his appointment to Greenwich DGH in 1985. He was Medical Director 2008-2009 and ran the undergraduate orthopaedic teaching programme for GKT medical students.
