Dr Behnam has been a Consultant Physician at Milton Keynes University Hospital since 2012, before that he was consultant physician in Northampton General hospital.

He has more than 30 years’ experience in General and Elderly medicine with specialist interest in stroke and cognitive problems.

Dr Behnam has extensive experience in working with a multidisciplinary team including physiotherapists, occupational therapists and speech therapists.

Over and above his clinical commitments, Dr Behnam has an interest in medical education. He is one of the lecturers at Buckingham University Medical School and is a clinical examiner for the MRCP (UK) postgraduate examination.

Currently, he holds the role of Clinical Lead for the Dementia service  and Consultant Stroke Physician at Milton Keynes University Hospital.
